In A natural minor, this is G, which now becomes G#! The entire A harmonic minor scale is A-B-C-D-E-F-G#-A. To come up with this scale, we take the natural minor scale and raise the 7th scale note. There is also something called a harmonic minor scale. To come up with this scale on the piano, I like to take the major scale and lower the 3rd, 6th, and 7th scale notes, meaning that the C#, F#, and G# from A major all become natural notes in A minor.
